Product Overview
💡
TRKLS-R series split-core three-phase flexible Rogowski coils are designed for high-precision measurement and protection of three-phase current in power lines.
The output signal is the differential of the current against time, and through an integrator, the measured current can be truly restored. The coil features excellent transient response, zero hysteresis, and no magnetic saturation. With a wide measurement range and high frequency response, the flexible split-core structure allows for installation on large or irregular conductors without damaging the line.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the main advantage of a flexible Rogowski coil?
The flexible Rogowski coil features a split-core design that can be easily installed around conductors of irregular shapes or large sizes without disconnecting the circuit, offering great convenience for existing power line monitoring.
Does this product suffer from magnetic saturation?
No, unlike traditional current transformers, Rogowski coils do not have a magnetic core, which means they have no hysteresis and do not saturate, allowing for a very wide measurement range.
What is the IP protection rating of this coil?
The TRKLS-R series has an IP65 protection rating, making it suitable for indoor environments and providing significant resistance to dust and moisture.
Is an integrator required for operation?
While the coil can output a signal (333mV/50mV/90mV) without an integrator, using an integrator ensures a higher accuracy class (1%) and restores the measured current signal accurately for standard measurement devices.
What materials are used for the insulation?
The coil is constructed with high-quality silicone rubber for the skeleton and quilt, providing excellent flexibility and durability in various working temperatures.
Can it measure high-frequency pulse signals?
Yes, it has a very wide response bandwidth from 1Hz up to 1MHz, making it ideal for measuring pulse signals with high peak values like lightning or welding currents.
