D-SRC High Voltage Flexible Rogowski Coil
  • High Linearity: Accurate measurement from 1A to 100kA.
  • Wide Dynamic Range: Suitable for various current intensities.
  • Flexible Design: Ideal for large or awkward shaped conductors and limited access areas.
  • Safety First: No danger from open-circuited secondary; not damaged by overloads.
  • Non-intrusive: No power drawn from the main circuit.
  • High Protection: IP67 protecting level with 36kV voltage resistance.

The D-SRC is a flexible current transducer based on the Rogowski principle, particularly suitable for measurement in combination with portable devices. These coils are available in different sizes and can be supplied according to customer's design, making them versatile for applications where traditional transducers are too bulky or heavy.

Equipped with a shield against external magnetic fields, the D-SRC grants stable measurement from low currents to hundreds of kA. It provides 90° phase shift compensation and frequency equalization when connected to an electronic integrator.

Safety & Warning Notes
⚠️ CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK

Installation and maintenance must be performed by qualified personnel. In high voltage circumstances, any operation is extremely dangerous. Ensure the main power supply is disconnected during installation. Do not apply around or remove from uninsulated hazardous live conductors.

Warning: Do not stress the coil with mechanical force (pressure, tight bending) as it will dramatically degrade accuracy.

Model Selection Guide
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is a Rogowski coil?
A Rogowski coil is an "air-cored" toroidal coil placed around a conductor. The magnetic field produced by the AC current induces a voltage in the coil proportional to the rate of change of current. When integrated, it provides an accurate measurement of the current.
2. What are the main advantages of the D-SRC series?
The D-SRC series offers high linearity, a wide dynamic range (1A to 100kA), and is non-intrusive. Its flexible design allows for easy installation around large or complex conductors where traditional transformers cannot fit.
3. Can the D-SRC coil handle high voltage environments?
Yes, the D-SRC series is specifically designed for high voltage applications with a voltage-resistant level of up to 36kV and a 12mm section for effective isolation.
4. Does the Rogowski coil measure DC current?
No, Rogowski coils do not measure direct currents (DC). However, they can accurately measure the AC component even in the presence of a large superimposed DC component because they have no iron core to saturate.
5. What is the protection rating of this sensor?
The D-SRC series features an IP65 to IP67 protection rating, making it suitable for various industrial environments, though caution should be taken in high humidity or rainy high-voltage circumstances.
6. Is an external integrator required?
Generally, Rogowski coils must be connected to an electronic integrator for phase shift compensation. However, some specific DIN-RAIL or panel meters can interface with them directly.
